NE-YO JOINS "EMPIRE" SEASON 2 AS A SONG WRITER

Empire‘s second season debuts this fall. However, with 18 episodes this time, it’ll be broken up in two parts: a fall half and then a long wait ’till the spring half. To sweeten that deal, Fox chairmen Dana Walden and Gary Newman  just announcedthat Ne-Yo will write music for the show, joining producer Timbaland in that role.There are no plans to have Ne-Yo act in the series.
