DAVY DENKE RELEASES HIS ANTICIPATED NEW EP, LEAVING

Davy Denke is a French-Togolese Indie Soul Rock singer-songwriter living in London. His music ranges from melancholic ballads to funk-infused rock songs, covering the topics of the modern nomadic lifestyle as well as depression, isolation and healing. 

LEAVING EP by Davy Denke is a breakup project, one with his home country France. It creatively recounts Davy’s journey from the very moment he decided to leave home for the USA up to his return five years later.'I wrote ‘Leaving’ from the perspective of a romantic relationship that has just ended. Each song represents a stage of the healing process. The EP also unfolds as a chronological account of my time in the US, each song channeling a city and its impact on me.’

Leaving is a five track EP exploring different boundaries of rock including soul, funk and blues. It is co-produced by Darren Carikas from Temples on Mars. He recently released his 3rd single 'Transit,' his funkiest, grooviest rock song yet tackling the inequalities that inner city commutes often display.
